How to Check Eggs for Freshness

No Knowledge is waste and they say its power because its the differentiating factor to the next person... Its easy to find out if your eggs can be scrambled, fired, boiled or tossed into the trash when equipped with adequate knowledge and all you need to do is follow this simple steps.

STEP 1: Fill a large kitchen bowl with cold water and place it on a flat, even surface.

STEP 2: Gently place the eggs in to the bowl of water and leave a few seconds to see if they sink or float.

STEP 3: Remove and throw away any eggs that floats because as they age eggs loose moisture and carbon dioxide which causes shrinking and increases the air space inside the shell which makes them float.
                                       
Step 4: The eggs that sink but stand up straight are still edible but getting close to the end of their shell life. These should be eating as soon as possible.

Step 5: The eggs that are left in the bowl should be kept aside for use or refrigerated for later use. These are fresh and can be kept

Note: Eating Rotten Eggs can cause nausea vomiting, Diarrhea and fever 6 to 7 hours after consumption.
