Why ‘Kocktails With Khloe’ has been Canceled

Khloe Kardashian’s talk show “Kocktails with Khloe” has been canceled less than three months since its premiere. Both FYI and the reality star have reportedly decided to mutually part ways.

Kardashian is choosing to focus on other work, including “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and separate side projects, as opposed to filming a second season. Network executives reportedly took note of Kardashian’s disinterest in the project, which was one of the factors that led to the show’s cancelation.

The series was greenlit in July 2015, at which time the network ordered eight one-hour episodes, which were later extended to 13. During the January premiere of “Kocktails With Khloe,” the host got her sister Kendall Jenner to prank their sister Kim by telling her in a phone call, “I haven’t told anyone yet because I feel like you could help me figure what I should do, but I… am… pregnant.” As Khloe and the other guests tittered, Kendall continued, “I didn’t know who to tell first, and I felt like if I told mom she would freak out, so I was coming to you for support first.”

The following week featured Tyga and Scott Disick playing a game of “F**k, Marry, Kill” with Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian as the options. Tyga wasn’t given the choice of his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, so he said, “I’ll probably marry Khloe, I’d f**k Kim, and probably kill Kourtney.” Disick for his part, responded, “If I really had to: bang you, kill Kim for sure, and marry my girl.”

“Kocktails with Khloe” still has two episodes left to air, with the series finale scheduled for April 13. The all-star guests on the last-ever episode of the short-lived talk show will be Kim, Kanye West, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
